During the consultation, we will work with you to design your wedding cake and/or dessert bar, pick your flavors and more. ​

​

Once final flavors & design elements are selected, a 50% non-refundable deposit to lock in the date.

21 days before the event, the remaining balance is due. We will make final arrangements for pick-up or delivery and all other final details.

General Information

Please read through the following information before filling out a request form to make sure

we can help you properly for your wedding or event.

 

When can I book my wedding cake? Wedding cakes & desserts can be booked up to one year in advanced.

Can I have a consultation? Yes! We ask that you come prepared with a serving size, design, color scheme, date & flavor preferences to make the consultation more valuable to you. Consultations do cost. 

 

I am buying dessert from another place but want you to make our cake. Do you do that?  We require all desserts being served at your wedding or event to be done by us. This includes cake, cupcakes, brownies, cookies, etc. This helps us control the same quality of product between all the desserts your guests are enjoying during the wedding or event.

Are you allergen friendly? Our products may contain or come in contact with milk, wheat, nuts, soy and other allergens. You agree to notify your guests of this risk and hold us harmless for allergic reactions.

I want a sheet cake, do you make those? We like to offer many other options before doing a sheet cake, we refer to them as “KITCHEN CAKES.” Our kitchen cake is 3 layers of cake and 2 layers of frosting, roughly 3-4” tall, depending on flavor choice. Kitchen cakes come undecorated with plain, flat frosting on the exterior.​

 

Delivery

We charge a delivery fee of $100/hr for wedding/tiered cakes or large bakery orders.  This includes set-up (typically 1-1.5 hours) and travel time, and requires a contract. If you or your representative choose to pick up and set up the cake, you assume all liability and responsibility for the condition of the cake once it leaves Sugar & Slice Bakery’s possession.

 

Rentals

Rentals must be returned within 5 days of the event date stated on the invoice. The deposit is 50% refundable provided the rental item(s) is returned in the same exact condition.

 

Payment

50% non-refundable deposit is required to book the order. The rest is due 21 days before the pick-up/delivery date. If payment is not received by that date, we reserve the right to refuse your order. no refunds shall be granted within 21 days of the event. We can be paid via credit card, check or cash. â€‹
